I can't even begin to tell you how much fun I had on this engagement shoot! 1st of all I love this couple! Talk about fun people! And good looking! We started at their new home and then moved on to Meredith's family home. The light couldn't have been better that day!

These next shots might be the best part of the day...Meredith told me the history behind these benches - The 1st bench is extra long & it's for when you 1st start courting...no touching allowed...

This second bench is built just for two...

...and this third bench...only sits one...it's called the engagement bench...and is actually where Mitch proposed for Meredith - although I believe her reaction was a bit different than this one!

Can I tell you how much I love this picture? Truthfully, does it get any better than this? I don't think so!

Was I telling the truth or what? It was a hard decision for me - choosing which images to show! And in full disclosure...these two lovebirds are now officially wedded! They took the show on the road & married in Jamaica a few weeks ago! Congratulations & Best Wishes you two!!

Jennifer & Drew - what a cute couple! Both are former students of my husband & Jennifer has been known to babysit for my kids a time or two. I really had a blast making these images with them! Long time no see...

Danielle & Ryan

What a wonderful wedding! Danielle was our babysitter for a while & Ryan, a religion major, took several classes from my husband - and more importantly is a Duke Divinity student - the Alma Mater of my husband... Another reason we enjoyed this wedding so is because it was a family affair for us...Alvin, my husband, played the Brides processional, my two children were the precious flower girl & adorable ring bearer, and yours truly photographed the event. Yes, you can get the same package deal - or you can hire just me!

Ryan & Danielle opted to see each other before the wedding, which gave us loads of time to make tons of great pictures!

OMG!!

I cannot believe that this child is old enough for me to do her senior portraits...I mean come on - wasn't it just yesterday that I met her as a 5th grader? Since when do 12 year olds get to graduate? Because, I know I'm not getting that old! Nonetheless...I had fun making these images with Ellie! Thanks for being so patient & willing!
