One of my favorite families!!  I loved the spots we went to this year!  Who would have thought the Veteran's Cemetery would have been AMAZING!!  Great light, grass & setting - you name it!  Then we headed to downtown Marietta - another great location!  Throw in some ice cream & it's the perfect session!

I think I found a new best friend during this session ~ Belle & I bonded quickly!! I loved watching their personalities come out during this session! Both kids were so cute & behaved so well (I'm sure the promise of fudgesicles had nothing to do with that...)

WOW!

I just looked at this blog & realized that it does not represent how busy I've been this fall!! Why? Well, I've taken up a new way to show my images to my clients...slide shows. I love creating them, love finding the right music & love how they show off a photography session!

I've photographed these children for several years now & I'm telling the truth when I say they have got to be some of the most striking, photogenic children around! That Mary James OWNS the camera!! I especially love the last image, the one with the girls in their Halloween costumes - aren't they gorgeous?

Boone & his super cool parents were my 1st photography gig here in Atlanta once we moved here last summer! I had the best time hanging out with these three and as usual, left feeling like I'd made life-long friends!

What a great group of folks! These two families get together every year, rotating between their homes (GA & VA). I had the best time photographing the love they have for each other. My favorite image from the whole day is this last one...

Probably not the best image I've ever taken, the lighting was poor, it's grainy but can't you just feel the joy? Doesn't it bring back a memory you've had like this? Hanging out with your best friend, enjoying an adult beverage, your kids playing great with their kids?

The Porters

It was hard to finish this session - it meant that I wouldn't be seeing this precious little girl every 4 months or so... Her year with me had ended. I tried my darndest to talk her parents into having another baby ASAP - but they couldn't be convinced...YET!

A nice thing about blogging 6+ months behind is getting the opportunity to go back and look at my work. It's nice to get a fresh perspective on the images I've taken! I always enjoy looking back!

Jones Farm

Hot, humid July evening - not ideal conditions for a photo session...but somehow, it was the PERFECT session! These kids were awesome & really played along for me! The setting was great as well! They own a wholesale nursery and we had tons of great plants and bugs for the background (or foreground!)

The last image is one of my favorites!!

The Slays

Love, love, love this family! The entire time I was photographing them I kept thinking..."this is exactly the kind of relationship I want to have with my kids when they are teenagers!" They could write parenting books! Best Selling Parenting Books!
