WOW!

I just looked at this blog & realized that it does not represent how busy I've been this fall!! Why? Well, I've taken up a new way to show my images to my clients...slide shows. I love creating them, love finding the right music & love how they show off a photography session!

So, I've decided that I'll start sharing them here as well - unless a client rather I did not. Let me start at the beginning! With one of my favorite clients...

Boone ~ ATLANTA CHILD PHOTOGRAPHER

I wish I could take credit for this pose...but it was ALL Boone, not me!

Boone & his super cool parents were my 1st photography gig here in Atlanta once we moved here last summer! I had the best time hanging out with these three and as usual, left feeling like I'd made life-long friends!

Baby Rolls! ~ ATLANTA BABY PHOTOGRAPHER

He looks JUST like his Daddy in this image!

This little guy couldn't be much cuter! Adored by his Mama ~ that's for sure! Don't you just love a baby with rolls? I say wear the rolls while you can ~ because they won't always be flattering...just sayin'!

Three years old!!

As usual this boy had a FANTASTIC birthday! His Mom & Dad always outdo themselves!! And as always I have the best time photographing the day! The theme to this year's party... "All Things Boy" Tractors, Dirt, Cake, Horses, BIG Trucks, Wagons, and lots of friends!!

I can't wait to see this little boy in November for his Mom's annual Christmas Card picture - again, guaranteed to be fun! Oh, and there will be more birth...days...coming up soon too!!! Can't wait!

Mad Men

I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this photo shoot with Olivia & David! I've said this before about Olivia - she is pretty much up for anything - which is why I love, love, love working with her!

I also love, love, love the AMC show "Mad Men". I'm so fascinated by this period piece show - not to mention that Don Draper is H.O.T.!!!

Mad Men is the inspiration behind these images - a spoof on a-day-in-the-life-of-a-mother. Because you know we all sit around with cocktails, pearls & precious, perfect children...right?

p.s. for the sake of transparency...Olivia was drinking grape juice...

The Holles

I have enjoyed getting to know this family so much! It's awesome to see a family really enjoy each other & work together so well! They are raising amazing kids!

2 boys & a girl

I'm really not sure if they get much cuter than these three! A sweet, precious little girl and two boys...and let me tell you what - they are all boys!! On our photo session we encountered (up close & personal) several lizards, a snake & numerous bugs!!

Claybrooks

This family was wonderful! Their Mom was not at home when I arrived, and although the Dad was a little flustered at first, having to handle two kids & a photographer he'd never met, he did an AWESOME job! I bragged & bragged to his wife when she arrived! Again, we had one of my favorite sessions - just laying around doing nothing - just being! Thanks JD for having me photograph your beautiful family!

Towns

I've been so excited about showing the following video... Towns at about 12 months. I not only followed them around with a camera while he & his family played but, I also captured their interaction on video. It's an idea I've been toying with for a while now - combining media! I'll definitely be working with this idea more!!

Collier @ 1

This was Collier's 1 year photo shoot - I cannot believe this boy is now one! Remember when he was a tiny little newborn? Born nearly 2 months early? I can!

Here's the good news though... his Mama & Daddy are giving me yet another chance to photograph their family... Baby #2 is on his/her way!! Can't wait!

On another note, see that cute lady at the top there? She's the star of one of my all time favorite photos!

Change is a comin'

I photographed these three boys on two separate days - but all three had something in common...their worlds were about to completely change... both Mama's were pregnant with sisters...

I am so far behind with blogging that I am embarrassed to say that 5 months later - both Moms had their sweet baby girls & the worlds of these boys did not stop spinning...although I'm sure things are a little different these days!

Towns at 6 months

This is one lucky boy! Not only are his parents ab-so-lute-ly crazy about him - but his grandparents, who only live a few houses away, feel the same way if not more! I love that picture of both grandmas kissing his kissable cheeks...I call that one "Dueling Grannys!"

Julian at two

I ran into this cute little boy & his Mama the other day at the grocery store & not only is he just as cute - but now he talks up a storm! I have had the best time photographing this precious boy!

*One of my favorite pictures from this session is the one where you see his Mom's hand reaching out to his sweet head. It gives me the sense of a mother's fierce protectiveness.
